The time that I was in New Zealand, my spiritual journey at the time was being fueled by this quote that I saw on someone from IWT's Myspace page. haha

"Everything is Worship
Choose Your God."

It hit me so much that I wrote it on my hand (which opened up good evangelistic oppertunity) but thats not the point,

The thing that hit me so much, was the thing that we heard all the time through DTS, constantly make God the center of everythign blah blah... but this quote the way it was worded really hit me becuase of that last one... "Choose your God", and it reminded me that way back in week...2? We learned that we can make anything a god, but as we know there is only one God, but in every day, in every action... which God are you serving? Everything you do is worship, not just when you are in the process of doting over something, but in the way you speak, the way you present yourself, the way you view the world. It's worship.... so choose who.what it is that you are worshipping. Is it the Creator? Is it your saviour?

Man, sometimes when I caught myself focusing more on having a good time with fellow backpackers in NZ it hit me like a truck... everything is worship... what am I worshipping? THe "Good Time" itself? etc? It was a great reminder every time I saw the quote, to just take a step back and recognise and praise the one who brought me TO Australia, and thus New Zealand, the one who brought me to the peace of mind that allowed me to even HAVE a good time. THe one who is responsible and worthy for/of everything and anything.

It's all about what you choose.
Choices.

That was One of many revelations I had down south, but I wanted to start the new section for "Quotes" and thought this would be a good one to post.

Here's a quote out of a daily devotional book I have. I read this the other day and it reminded me of some stuff God had taught me on DTS. I hope you guys like it, sorry that it's kinda long.

"We must love Christ for Himself. God's beauty and love must be the two loadstones to draw our love to Him. Alexander the Great had two friends, Hephestion and Craterus, of whom he said, 'Hephestion loves me because I am Alexander; Craterus loves me because I am King Alexander.' The one love his person the other loved his gifts. We must love God more for what He is than for what He bestows. True love is not mercenary. You need not hire a mother to love her child. A soul deeply in love with God needs not be hired by rewards. It cannot but love Him for that luster of beauty that sparkles forth in Him."

k well... At the moment I'm working on a video that's being tied together with quote... Yikes! I've been having revelations left right and centre... well that's not really true. But I have a few favourites

"The greatest tragedy to befall a person is to have sight, but lack vision"
-helen keller

or

I like this one...

"Here is a test to find whether your mission on earth is finished: If you are alive, it isn't."
- Richard Bach

So those are some food for thought.

Here's one of the most powerful quotes I've come across.

"The only way for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."

What are you doing?

What am I doing?

Jon, Isn't that quote from Batman Begins?

Bruce: "I'm not one of your good people Rachel"

*Shows the gun*

Rachel: *Gasp* *slap*....*SLAP*
Your Father would be ashamed.

Bruce: Grrr, FINE! I'll become a ninja then.
