So in case you never found out during DTS I LOVE books. I think they are amazing. so here is a section for anyone who's reading a book and wants to talk about it. Or if you want a book recomendation ask, or if you want to recommed a book that we should all read put it here.

The book I'm reading right now has been awesome. It is talking about the spheres of society and how we can transform nations. It talks about the importance of the Bible and how we need to live our lives by what it says. I've been really encouraged/convicted by it. I have been struggling to read the Bible every day, but it's so important because as I read his word the H.S. will transform my life. If I want to grow and change and continue to be used by God I need to be in His word and I need to apply it to my life in every area. I think this goes along with what Jon said in his post about the importance of scripture and how it draws us closer to God as we spend time in it every day!

"This is God's book and it is for every area of our lives" -quote from the book I'm reading

I love you guys hope you are doing well

Currently reading "Celebration of Discipline" by Richard Foster. So far I'm loving it, I'm just a chapter in but it's been really good so far. I let you guys now how it goes.

PostSubject: One down another to go   Books Icon_minitimeSun Apr 22, 2007 8:46 am

Ok so as I said in another post,
I finally finished Michael Crichton's "State of Fear", which I started September 05, and finally committed myself to reading the rest of it. Again I am reminded of why I love this authour.
Ok so now that that is done, I am about to start on "The Great Divorce"-CS Lewis,
After that I'm thinking of starting to read "eragon". So yah I all of a sudden have an enormous desire to read, which is something I never had before DTS.
I love it
-Derek

Currently reading The Screwtape Letters- By the C to the S to the Lewis dogg. It's really good, really funny at some parts and really clevery done. I'm sure many of you have read it already though.
(If not, it's about the spiritual war over a humans mind through the eyes of demons)

"It's funny how mortals always picture us as putting things into their minds: In reality our best work is done by keeping things out." - Screwtape
